I hope you didn't think I fell into a black hole!  You know how we sometimes get hijacked on this interesting journey of life?  Well, that’s been happening a lot for moi these days, but I managed to negotiate a little time to myself.  I spent that time happily stitchin’ compass star and setting blocks, and next thing you know, a beautiful border appeared on my quilt!

As you know, I’m a rookie at this stuff.  Somerset is a really nice project for learning and practicing.  I recommend it highly to anyone with any level of experience.  If you are working on it, or have completed it, please share photos with us.

So….I started this project almost a year ago:  April 26ish, 2013.  Wonder if I can finish it before April 26th this year?  The fourth (and final) installment calls for compasses, pinwheels, and a scrappy dogtooth border.  Sounds fun.  I think I will close for now so I can start cutting.  Thanks for your time.
